Season Two

The Nashville Manitoba Songwriters Round is a celebration of the art of songwriting, inspired by the iconic Nashville-style rounds that highlight storytelling, collaboration, and heartfelt performances. Rooted in Winnipeg’s vibrant music scene, our series brings together songwriters from diverse genres and backgrounds to share their original compositions and the stories behind them.

In 2023, we hosted six incredible rounds, each showcasing the depth and talent of Manitoba’s music community. Hosted monthly, the rounds featured acoustic performances, candid storytelling, and a warm, interactive atmosphere that connected artists and audiences alike.

From January to June, our lineup included special events like the International Women’s Month showcase in March and performances hosted by local artists Kwiat, Tyler Del Pino, and Sierra Noble, who brought their unique styles to each evening. Whether it was a debut song or a familiar favorite, every round was a testament to the power of music and storytelling.

This season also marked a new partnership between Tyler Del Pino and Songsmiths Canada, whose collaboration was instrumental in making these events a reality. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our graphic designer, award-winning Roberta Landreth, who created the stunning poster graphics, and to Kilter Brewing Co. for providing their welcoming space and the incredible staff who helped ensure each event ran smoothly.
