Nashville MB | The Writer’s Round

Nashville MB is a monthly Writers Round series at the cozy taproom at Kilter Brewing Co. Each month features intimate performances by four of Manitoba’s finest songwriters who will share their songs in turn. Writers talk about how and why they wrote the songs, and there are always lively stories and interaction between the writers.

About the Hosts

Tyler Del Pino

Tyler Del Pino, has a pure passion for songwriting and an honest sound infused with starry-eyed narratives. a hybrid of alt-country, Americana, and East Coast folk-rock that stays true to the roots of timeless tunes. Backed by his new band The Brasstronautz, audiences will leave with earworms in their heads and hearts full of optimism. File him beside James Taylor for his classic songwriting, Keith Urban for his polished precision, Mumford and Sons for their anthemic sing-alongs, and Strumbellas for thoughtful themes and rosy melodies, born and bred in Canada.

Kwiat

Kwiat (kwai·uht) is a Métis Polish avant-pop artist heavily influenced by post-romanticism. With sophisticated vocals and elaborate piano melodies, the Winnipeg-based songstress captivates audiences through raw, intimate, and dramatic performances. Each song blossoms into its own lush and distinct sound while drawing inspiration from notable artists such as Fiona Apple, Japanese Breakfast, and Regina Spektor.

Sierra Noble

Entering the music industry at a young age can have profound effects on an artist’s personal and professional journey, and Sierra Noble knows this well. The Winnipeg singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, released their first album of traditional Métis fiddle music as a teenager, followed by the well-received Possibilities, and later, City of Ghosts. Over the course of these albums Noble honed their skills as a songwriter while garnering widespread attention, which led them to opening for Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, and Johnny Reid, and as a featured performer for the 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony.
