They just completed their Master’s in Music and Culture at Carleton University where they also played hockey. One of the RBCxMusic First Up artist’s of 2022, Cec's music is distinguishable by its slow groove, intimate lyrics, and soaring vocal layers.

Daggerss

Daggerss is the queen of the underdogs. She’s the crystalline sparkle of the day and the haunting siren song of the night. Her love of synthesizers, sonic exploration, and vocals are a heavy influence on her creations. She creates devastatingly catchy and emotive alt pop songs with her solo project Daggerss as well as when songwriting and producing for other artists out of Sprkl Studio. She used to be one half of Canadian indie pop duo Rococode, who toured relentlessly, charted in the top10 on Canadian alt and college radio, and had songs featured in major TV networks.
