Catie St. Germain, Emma Worley, Tommyphyll, with host KWIAT
Catie St Germain is a Metis/ Country singer from Niverville MB Canada is the granddaughter of Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame royalty, Ray St. Germain. She owns a powerful and versatile voice and that, combined with her authentic songwriting, blew up the Manitoba Country music scene in 2023. Catie released her first original song independently and her loyal fans reacted. She was nominated for an unprecedented SIX MCMA Awards including the MCMA Emerging Artist, which she took home the hardware for.
Her first two singles “the day gets too long” and “High Forever” went #1 on the indigenous Music countdown and her Debut EP released May 2024 is making big waves on country radio and got the attention of industry members, allowing her to open for bands such as James barker band, the Hunter brothers and Tyler Joe Miller. Her energetic yet heartfelt show will leave you wanting more!
Winnipeg transplant Emma Worley spent many years dedicated to a career as a visual artist in Toronto. Upon graduating from OCADU, she garnered attention for her sculpture/installation work at various high-profile institutions. Despite her burgeoning success in the visual-arts world, Worley found herself compulsively drawn towards creating the material that would become her debut album, Sentimentalist. Her songwriting is heartfelt, genuine and clever and her voice as soothing as it is powerful. Her debut record, Sentimentalist, showcases her maturity as a writer, despite it being her first public release of music.
TOMMYPHYLL is a singer, songwriter, producer, and entertainer known for his genre-blending "AFRODIEM" sound—a blend of 80s synth-pop, Afrobeats, and classical music. TOMMYPHYLL’s music is dually inspired by his hometown of Lagos, Nigeria, as well as his more recent experiences as a Winnipeg-based creative.
TOMMYPHYLL’S self-produced debut EP, "Art of Dreams," came out in 2020, followed by a collection of singles in subsequent years.
KWIAT is a Winnipeg-based Métis Polish avant-pop artist celebrated for her genre-defying sound. Inspired by artists like Fiona Apple, and Hayley Williams, her debut music—co-produced with Hawksley Workman and mixed by George Seara—has achieved significant acclaim. Her debut single "Follow The Call" reached the top 10 on SiriusXM's The Indigiverse, and she earned accolades including the Women in Music Canada Honour Roll in 2023 and a spot in Billboard Canada’s Inaugural Women in Music Industry Spotlight in 2024. KWIAT has captivated sold-out audiences opening for Jim Cuddy and Sam Powell and has showcased her dynamic performances at major events like the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival, Festival du Voyageur, and Pride Winnipeg.
